Here is a little poem that I thought up to get you thinking about what to do with all of your t-shirts!

There once was a woman, who lived in a shoe,
Who had too many t-shirts that made her blue,
She really didn’t know what to do!
So she scoured online hi and low,
And found a website as pretty as a bow.
www.sewbehind.com was just her thing,
It made her so happy she wanted to sing.
It was there that she found what she could do
As the site gave her the bestest clue,
Take those t-shirts and make something new!
It was clever, it was grand,
So she stacked all of those t-shirts in one of her hands,
And sent them off to Sew Behind,
Where a beautiful quilt could be made just in time!
For the woman just couldn’t believe,
That all of those t-shirts could be made to be,
A beautiful quilt that all could see!
Have you been thinking about a great gift for your graduate or maybe even to remember all your great times at school, a favorite vacation destination, a birthday or anniversary! Then you need to consider a
T-SHIRT QUILT!
Getting your t-shirt quilt made is super simple. All you have to do is send in the number of t- shirts that you want made into the quilt. Decide if you want sashing or not and that's it! Leave the rest to me. I will turn your favorite t- shirts into a beautiful quilt! The pricing includes cutting, piecing, backing, batting, thread, quilting and binding!
All quilts are machine quilted (not tied) for extra durability!
PRICING:
$18.00 per shirt with sashing (the sashing will be the same color as your backing)
$15.00 per shirt without sashing
So for example if you have 12 t-shirts and want sashing (basic colors to set off the t-shirts include royal blue, red, black, white, cream, gray, navy blue), just multiply 12x$18.00= $216.00 and that's the cost of your quilt.
1/2 down is required at the time you place your order to ensure that your quilt is put into the quilting queue. The remaining amount is due when your quilt is finished. We accept MC, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
I pride myself on making an exquisite quilt for you or your loved one. The quilting is done on a commercial frame with an allover pattern that stitches within 1-2 inches apart. This means that your t-shirts are completely held together through all 3 layers. Laundering will not distort your shirts or the pattern and will provide years of joy and love.
The binding is double-folded and completely machine stitched, again ensuring endurabilty.
The batting that is used is 100% polyester, quilt shop grade, that will stand the test of laundering and use. It will not bunch up when washed!
All materials that are used to piece your quilt are 100% cotton and quilt shop grade.
